SAIA SERVICES

Work stage 1-4 as set out by the South African Council for the Architectural Profession (SACAP) includes:

• Advice and guidance with regards to other professionals; methods of contracting; and general procedure in order to meet requirements.
• Produce a broad-outline concept
• Develop concept into sketch-plans
• Produce basic agents drawings where required
• Produce construction drawings
• Prepare council submissions – site development plan and building plan
• Submit council drawings

Work stage 5 as set out by SACAP includes:

• Contract administration (JBCC only)
• Issue payment certificates (JBCC only)
• Site inspections
• Prepare defects lists as set out by the JBCC contract
• Issue Completion certificates
• Issue workmanship acceptance certificates to subcontractors
• Produce as-built drawings
